The Arcetri Spectral Code line emission files format
Each emissivity line is structured using the following format:
(a3,i3,f10.3,a3,41e13.4)
An example from the Ne=10^10 file (phot cm^3 s^-1) is given below:
Fe 2 1550.272 Mn 3.8815e-18 2.2909e-17 6.9024e-17 5.6234e-17 2.2751e-17 ...
with the following meaning:
Fe 2
: Element and stage of ionization of the emitting ion;
1550.272
: Wavelength (Å) of the transition;
Mn
: Isoelectronic sequence of the emitting ion
3.8815e-18
: Emissivity in phot cm^3 s^-1 for
Log T = 4.0
;
2.2909e-17
: Emissivity in phot cm^3 s^-1 for
Log T = 4.1
;
6.9024e-17
: Emissivity in phot cm^3 s^-1 for
Log T = 4.2
;
5.6234e-17
: Emissivity in phot cm^3 s^-1 for
Log T = 4.3
;
2.2751e-17
: Emissivity in phot cm^3 s^-1 for
Log T = 4.4
;
...
: The series of emissivities is reported up to
Log T = 8.0
, with
Log T = 0.1
steps.
The format of the emissivity files in erg cm^3 s-1 is identical to this one.
Informations about the transition (spectroscopic identification, type, etc...) can be found in the
