Star Formation Working Group

IAU Star Formation Working Group: Goals

To ensure that scientific symposia on Star Formation and Early Stellar Evolution are regularly held. Such symposia could take place every 3 or 4 years, and should be preferably sponsored by the IAU.

To plan, organize, and coordinate Joint Discussions, taking place during IAU General Assemblies, addressing themes of interest to more than just our Division VI.

To maintain a Web page with general information about the WG, about activities related to star formation, and about future meetings and symposia.
