Instructions to Authors
The invited lectures of the school will be published as a
book in the "Lecture Notes
in Physics" collection (Springer).
This will be the second
volume of a series of 6, corresponding to the 5 JETSET schools +
the final international conference.
The editors of this volume are Francesca Bacciotti, Leonardo Testi and
Emma Whelan.
The contributions will be refereed both internally and by Springer.
The Latex macro files provided by Springer can be retrieved HERE.
There is a sample article and instructions for the
authors included in the folder.
The deadline for manuscript submission is
November 20, 2006
As guideline for the length of the manuscript, please
consider a maximum
of 15-20 pages for an 1 hour lecture and of 30-35 pages
for a 2 hour lecture. These numbers are not strict but please try
not to exceed them.
Since it is a school, we ask the authors
to give as detailed a bibliography as possible
with emphasis on pedagogical material (i.e.
a clear reference to reviews or books on the topic,
web pages for additional material etc..). Moreover, the
authors are encouraged to illustrate a balanced
picture of their area of interest by representing also
the work carried out outside JETSET.
IMPORTANT:
to ensure accurate preparation of the index,
we kindly ask the authors to send us a list of key words
from their articles that they feel could be included in an index,
accompanied by the corresponding page number in their article where
that topic is treated.
Thanks in advance for your kind cooperation.
