Detection of Young Stellar Objects with ISO

Abstract:

Preliminary 15um results obtained with ISOCAM are compared with deep K-band and H2O maser observations of a 0.244 sq.deg. field in the galactic plane at l=+45 deg. A new maser source is found to be associated with the infrared source with the largest colour index, (mK-m15um)>10, most probably a young star in its earliest evolutionary phase. Other three objects with (mK-m15um)>9, probably young stars, are also found in the observed region.
