K-Band image of the ISOGAL +45 Field

The image below is a K-band mosaic of a region of ~0.5x1 deg. accross the galactic plane at l=+45. The image has been obtained at TIRGO using ARNICA by Gianni Comoretto and Dino di Filippo . In the image have been identifyed well over 10^5 stars. For the scientific background refer to: Perault et al. 1996, A&A, 315, L165 and Testi et al. 1997, A&A, 318, L13 . We are now planning to observe this field at J and H at TIRGO and in the radio continuum using the NRAO VLA .
